Housekeeping
- We are the guests of the Elliot Family and Central Oregon Irrigation District. Please take extra care to leave the grounds cleaner, if possible, than you found them. Trash receptacles will be available. Due to projected high fire conditions smoking will ONLY be allowed your own vehicle, no smoking in the fields, test grounds or on dirt roads. Do not leave cigarette butts in any area.
- Dry camping is permitted on BLM Property adjacent to both test grounds.
- Handlers in the Utility Tests must carry an empty shotgun and swing with the flushed bird. We will provide a single barrel shotgun available for the purpose.
- Lunch may be provided for a fee. Please buy a ticket on our website if you would like to have a lunch before June 5th. https://centraloregonnavhda.org/shop/ (Judges lunches are provided free of charge)
Safety and Sportsmanship
- If you wish to accompany/watch a dog during the test, you must obtain permission from the judges AND the handler.
- Blaze orange clothing MUST be worn any time live ammunition is in use, i.e. in the Utility test. This applies to ALL people in the field during UPT and UT testing.
- Dogs must be kept restrained during the test hours except when actually under judgment. Above all, dogs must not be allowed to run at large through fields where other dogs are being judged. An exercise area will be designated but all dogs must still be on lead. Do not bring any dogs other than the one(s) you will be running in the test.
- Any person violating the above rules will be required to leave the grounds.
